This policy explains how Vajrashakti Ventures Private Limited (“Vajrashakti”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through this website. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
01What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website and to enquiries you send us through it, by email or through the contact form. Information we exchange with customers, suppliers, partners and government bodies under a contract or tender is handled under the terms of that arrangement.
02Data we collect
- Details you give us. Your name, organisation, email address, phone number, enquiry type and message when you contact us, and your CV and related details when you apply for a role.
- Technical data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use this to keep the website secure and working.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or social media pixels on this website.
03How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence;
- to assess procurement, partnership, investment and job enquiries;
- to protect the website and our systems against misuse and attack;
- to meet our legal, regulatory and licensing obligations, including lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
04Grounds for processing
We process the data you send us on the basis of your consent, which you give when you contact us or apply for a role. We also process data for the legitimate uses the Act permits, such as complying with the law. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing we carried out before it.
05Who we share it with
- service providers who host the website or run our email, acting on our instructions;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality;
- government, regulatory and law-enforcement authorities, where the law requires it.
Some service providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we transfer data only as Indian law permits.
06Third-party services
The website may load fonts or other content from third-party providers, for example Google Fonts. When your browser requests these files, the provider receives your IP address and handles it under its own privacy policy. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ policies.
07How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and recruitment data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires, and then delete it.
08Security
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us classified or export-controlled information through this website.
09Your rights
Under the Act you can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- address a grievance about how we have handled your data;
- act on the instructions of a person you nominate to exercise these rights for you.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
